FINAL christmas

I used the kerning and leading tool for the typography . For the background I used a gradient and made it green and red.I used image trace on the wreath to make the color come out like that. I used this source to make the ornament and mostly used the optical tool and pen.

Halloween

This project was pretty easy and simple but I had a problem opacity mask. I just couldnt get it to look right. 

Splat Justin

This project was very simple. All I had to do was make the splat a symbol and apply it to my text. The last few steps puzzled me. I did exactly what it said but i dont see a differece. It said that it will put splats under the letters but all i see is a green outline over the "j" when i applied the symbol to all the letters

The easiest part for me had to be the very begining . The steps to getting the basic shape of the sign were very basic and to the point. I had a problem making the light bulbs , it was just a simple instruction that i made harder than what it was. Some techniques I used were border effects, transform effects and basic color change

Bob Marley quote

I chose this quote because I like the moral of what Bob Marley is saying. I feel like the quote is as real about life as it gets, this quote says a lot to me. I chose the color green because to me, green is a peaceful color

My monster

I started off free styling the joker and when I got to the stomach area, I noticed how it resembled the alien from aliens the movie. So I started making my monster go more along the lines of the alien. I chose the color purple to make the monster look mad or depressed.

Colored quote

I chose red for "film" because in some cases red stands for "passion" and I think it takes passion in film making. I chose blue for "music" because it means peace. To me music is peaceful .

Black and white quote

I emphasized these words because I felt like these were the important parts of the definition that the reader should know.

Point , line, shape, form,colour,texture,tone , letterform,

Point- serves as the focus of a visual, highlighting or drawing attention to important information. It gets the viewers attention to important information.Several points in combination may represent a more complicated object or idea.A series of points can attract attemtion, especially as they move closer together

Line- A line is a form with width and length, but no depth. Artists use lines to create edges, the outlines of objects. A line is created by the movement of the artist's pen. Vertical lines suggest mor of a potential for movement, while diagonzal lines strongly suggest movement and give more of a feeling vitality to a picture.

Shape- a shape is defined as an area that stands out from the space next to or around it due to a defined or implied boundary, or because of differences of value, color, or texture.A shape is formed when a line encloses an area. Shapes can vary endlessly and can suggest physical form and direct eye movement.

Form- is the three dimensional feel and look of an object. A shape looks flat and two dimesional. All objects have shape or form. Forms are geometric. Geometric forms have volume a word that describes the weight density and thickness of an object.

Color- color occurs when light in different wavelengths strikes our eys. Objects have no color of their own, only the ability to reflect a certain wavelength of light back to our eyes. As you know, color can vary in differing circumstances. For example, a grass can appear gray in the morning or evening or birhgt green at noon.



Texture- as the surface characteristics of a material that can be experienced through the sense fo touch or the illusion of touch. Texture can be uses to accent an area so that it becomes more dominant than another. IN visual images, actual textures can be uses, such as cloth, boxes, small objects, and natural items.

Tone- value as bothe terms refer to various degrees of lightness or darkness. At this point, the colour of the subject is unimportant.The elemnt of value or tone is, in its simplest form, the juxtaposition of light and dark. It is defined as intensity of lightness or darkness in anything that is visable.

Letterform- An individual letter or character
