Contrast project

The picture is my favorite actor " James Franco". I chose to do a grunge effect on him. I chose this text tutorial because I felt like it would favor a picture with grunge effects due to the dark color

Grunge

I made multiple layer mask and changed the curves and hue and saturation and changed the blend modes on different layers

high pass

I copied the first layer several times adding high pass to each new layer and changing the radius. I changed the layers blend mode to hard light and added noise

Ipod man

I picked a brush that caught my eye the most and it just happen to be the blade of grass looking brush. I made a new layer and made the brush large and started brushing then i opened a new layer and did the same brush but different colors over the old brush to make the effect.

I had to use the paint brush a lot. I had to use the soft brush and free transform it to get it the way it is. I had to change the glows in the inner and outer level to make the color the way it is

Aqua

I used the brush tool and the paint bucket tool to get the color. I used the horizontal type tool to get the text and i did each letter seperate. I did used blending options on all the letters and did the different types of glows.

I used the magnet tool to crop my body out. I used the magic wand to to free form the sillouette and make it black.I used the brush and flow tool to get the shadow and my body to connect
